Working in the DMLE at times like these is stressful, of course, but it points to how good our training is on the 2nd Floor. It's definitely not something I'm pleased about - I would much rather not have had any of this happen - but it's nice to know that we're trained enough to handle incidents as they arrive.

I do apologize, however, at the long queues to get in or out of the Ministry. There's not much we can do about those at this point.

I don't know what all this is about? Why in the world would the Minister want to meet with me? He can't know about the Order. He can't. And even if he did, there's no reason he would meet with me. I'm certainly thinking too much. This is probably due to the Fenrir problem. I'm not making enough headway in the case and now the Minister is on my back about it.

Not that I particularly care what the Minister thinks, but if I lose my job, that would not be the most ideal situation.

Stop provoking Fenrir Greyback. I do not have the time nor the resources to waste protecting you and your friends and your family because you continue to think it is your job to domesticate the dog. Yes, he is a menace to society and you have every right to be disgusted with him and not want to be subjected to his torment.

However, do not think that playing his games across the journals is actually accomplishing anything. It is what he wants you to do, and he will target your friends and family.

Returning to work has been a much needed exercise of my mind, something that stay at home motherhood, while wonderful, has lacked. I do miss Neville terribly, but I know I will see him at the end of my day, and so now I must focus on the work at hand.

While I am not on the kidnapping cases, my heart goes out to the families. I knew one of the victims very, very well, as he was my first cousin's husband, so I am keenly interested in their return. I still hold hope, despite Mr. Bodes' gloomy post.
